How to combine the features at feature level?

I have extracted the local directional features (LDC) gradient features from the finger vein images. These features forms a matrix of the image size. Now i would like to combine finger vein pattern features with the LDC features. Can anybody help me in extracting the finger vein minutiae features or shape features and combine with LDC features.
