Whenever I try opening simulink 2016b...it shows a message like this in start page

Failed to load URL https://localhost:61415/toolbox/simulink/sltemplate/web/GalleryView/gallery.html?channel=/sltemplate/GalleryView/All/&viewType=All&startPage=true&snc=387ED4 with error (-2).

Try checking your Internet Options in the Control Panel and setting an exception:

Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN-Settings --> Advanced -> Exceptions (add localhost)
