Invalid DICOM folder error when reading a DICOM Volume file

I read a DICOM volume file that was acquired with the GE Voluson E6 Ultrasound equipment. I'm using the Matlab volume app . When loading the file I get the error that the DICOM file doesn't contain patient's position attribute.

I looked into the DICOM data structure and there is no such attribute with this name.

Any suggestions of what this error might be from? Could the volume be displayed from a single volume file or should it be a set of 2D slices made into a volume?
