Hello, I am able to launch Matlab using ./matlab in bin folder. But I want to be able to create an icon or launch it using terminal.
I am trying these command and I get error:
sudo /usr/local/MATLAB/bin/matlab -desktop
sudo /usr/local/MATLAB/bin/matlab matlab
the error is :

This error may occur when:
-The hostid of this computer does not match the hostid in the license file.
-A Designated Computer installation is in use by another user.
If no other user is currently running MATLAB, you may need to activate.

In particular when you sudo, you are running as root, but you probably have an individual user license that is licensed against your user name, not against root.
