How to find small difference between two stl images?

I am trying to find small difference between two stl formatted teeth data. When I turned stl formatted data to an image I have an image similar to the following;
I am curious if I can find and show the small difference(micro) with Matlab between two stl formatted data? Thank you.
Any idea is appreciated
