How to detect landmark points for Facial Recognition?

For eg. if I want to take few facial features points, say middle of the eyes, or tip of the nose, or the temple on the face. How do we actually detect these points in face? Can someone please help me? Is there any code or a learning mechanism? Responses Appreciated...
