The option: view simulation data in Simscape is disabled

Hi to all,

I am a new user of Matlab R2015a. I am simulating a DC motor with Simscape but I cannot visualize the inertia results. When I select the inertia block, I open the menu by right-click and I select the option Simscape, the "view simulation data" command is disabled. In this way I cannot see the inertia results. I have installed the full software with all modules. So, I am wondering what the issue could be and if there is another way to visualize the inertia results. I attach a screenshot to show my issue.

Hi,

To enable 'view simulation data', you have to first Log the simulation data and to log data go

Simulation Tab>>Model Configuration Parameters>>Select Simscape>>Data logging>> Log simulation data

and make that option to ALL and if you have more than 5000steps then not forget to remove tick on Limit data points. this gonna help you to see your results.

Myself also encountered with the same concern, but I am unable to follow this step as you mentioned "Simulation Tab>>Model Configuration Parameters>>Select Simscape>>Data logging>> Log simulation data"

It would be great if you help me with some additional clarity like a (.gif file recording). I am using MATLABr2023a Version academic license.
