How can I reconstruct hyper-planes from fitcecoc model output parameters?

I am using fitcecoc command for multi-classification problem (4labels). Output of this model has many arguments. I could not understand that how to reconstruct hyper-planes from these arguments. According to help document, f(x)=(x/s)′β+b. But I have β as an empty matrix. Help document says "Function is not 'linear', then Beta is empty ([])". I could not understand this. I used polynomial kernel. Please help me to reconstruct the hyper-planes to classify new data (test data) without using predict command.
