I teach a class that uses Simscape. How can i compare student-submitted files to detect identical/similar models (i.e. help me identify cheaters)?

I assign open-ended problems to design systems that operate within certain constraints, meaning there are numerous possible answers. I'm open for suggestions and comments!

Great to hear you are teaching a class using Simscape! I can think of some ways using MATLAB scripting, but I would like to check with a few people first to see what they recommend.
