I have a matrix of 17*17 subplots as an output of a process. When I run the script to show the matlab figure with subplots, they are all compressed to each other and because my PC screen size is small I can not make them any bigger to be visible. How to print/save this figure (with 17*17 subplots) into a file that is easily visible without the need to have a very large screen size?

Would the saving just be for the purpose of examining the plots? If so then there are other ways to display multiple multiple plots and scroll to make them visible.

One option is that on your figure, you can click on Export Setup, and on the Rendering section, choose the Resolution (dpi) as 600. You can save the figure as a .fig, or .jpg, and the quality should be decent.
