Matlab 2016 Version Function Problems

I am working on a project of Matlab from this website: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/47605-creating-a-motion-detector-using-an-arduino--a-photoresistor-and-matlab/content/html/Photoresistor_Motion_Detection_Article.html.

Basically I am making a simple motion detector using Matlab and Arduino. I am following the steps one by one and i realize that the syntax for entering certain functions have changed in the latest version of Matlab. I figure that out but some functions I can't figure out like Run_Motion_Detector in step 6 and the load function in step 7. Please help...

I am not sure whether you are indicating that MATLAB has changed since the code was created and so the code no longer works, or if you are saying that you are using an older version of MATLAB that does not support some of the newer features?

Looking at the code I can see that it is designed for use with R2014b or neeer. Which MATLAB version are you using?
