calculate 3D strain (normal and shear) from point clouds from 2 states

Hi,

I have two sets of points 3D clouds(x,y,z) that represent the centroids of a bunch of sphere at a) the initial state and b) after some 3d strain and shear has been applied to the spheres.

I would really appreciate help/advice with this.
