I'm trying to reinstall a 2007 version on a new computer. When I enter the serial number off the box I get: "Error -2001: The serial number you entered is not a valid serial number. Please re-enter your serial number". Any ideas how to solve this?

I already did that (emailing to support team). That is why you sent this mail I suppose. I cannot get in contact through my account because I do not have a serial key attatched to my account. That is not possible. The Matlab version I am trying to install is old but new out of the box

There is free support for installation problems, even on old versions.
