What should be the threshold leve set while doing ASK demodulation.

Hello, I have done ASK modulation successfully. my amplitude is 0.001. While demodulating what should be the threshold level if the Gaussian pulse is being used in the ASK modulation? How the threshold level should be decided at the receiver?
