How do I zoom while recording using Logitech C310 webcam?

Hello, I am trying to record an mp4 video using a Logitech C310 webcam. While the video is being recorded, I would like to zoom in. MATLAB says there is no zoom property for this webcam object like there is for the Logitech C170 webcam. I have tried to use the zoom feature on the toolbar, however, the resolution is reset to its original after the new frame is taken. Is there anything I could do to accomplish this task? Or should I use a different webcam? I have the image acquisition toolbox and use the winvideo adaptor.
