Mathematical Modeling of battery charging and discharge

I am working on modeling of Li-ion battery. I am using three basic parameters of battery characteristics such as charging/discharging current, voltage and SOC (State Of Charge). I would like to use mathematical modeling for getting a generic model which can fit and give a voltage output as a function of SOC and charging current. I wonder if I can use some modeling algorithm to achieve a single model for charging in different currents, and if I am able to make a single model for charging and discharging data. For battery simulation, the best place to start with is Simscape Battery, a new toolbox introduced in R2022b.
