Thermal Model of a House Example Adding an Air Conditioner

Has anyone successfully added an air conditioner to the Simulink example? (Link below):

I ask because my plots are not coming out like expected. Some steps I took in implementing an A/C: Lowered the set point, Increased the temperature of the time based outdoor temperature fluctuation, Turned the heat temperature into an A/C temperature, In the heater block I flipped the T-room block and T-heater block, so "heat flow" became T-room - T-heater (with T-heater being 10 degrees Celsius for an A/C temperature

The temperature of the room is following the trend line of the time simulated outdoor temperature, and the cost function is staying at zero. I can provide further information if needed.
