Sir how to read the pupil of a human eye ?

sir i am doing a project on human eye so for that sake i want to know how to read the pupil??

What does "read" mean to you? Do you mean to segment it out, so like you have a binary mask with white pixels saying where the pupil is and black pixels outside the pupil? Have you searched the literature: http://www.visionbib.com/bibliography/contents.html

It's an image right ? If it is then just read it through imread function.
