Will there be improved graphics support for app designer in R2016b?

As we all know, graphics support in app designer is quite lacking especially compared to GUIDE. Should I implement UIAxes in new programs I am writing in hope of updates or should I just stick to calling axes>

If you are eligible for the Preview program, you can download and test R2016b Preview and see what it offers.

However, the facilities in the Preview release are under Non Disclosure Agreement, and cannot be discussed here. Only Mathworks Sales has the authority to release that kind of information (and, occasionally, a MATLAB Product Manager, but that is not common.)

ah thanks! Sometimes developers can mention a little about what's coming in the updates especially if its in regards to "fixes" (which are desperately needed here)

I have seen direct Product Managers occasionally (not often) mention something coming in the next or a forthcoming release, but the only time I have seen a developer other than a Product Manager mention something coming in the next release was after the preview release had gone out of Preview and was under production just about to go out the door (about 8-ish days before official release).
