Problem display correctly dicom image in "image()" function

Hello,

I have a problem to display correctly dicom image in image() function. I always receive wrong image

im = dicomread('image1.dcm'); im2 = im2uint16(im); im3 = imadjust(im2); image(im3); %%% ????

Could someone help me please ? I would appreciate for any help please :)

What kind of data does the dicomread function produce? You cast it to a uint16 but is that necessary? Does it help you change the order of im2uint16 and imadjust maybe?
