How MATLAB production server communicate with web server?

I have gone through the example: Web-based Bond Pricing Tool Using JavaScript, it seems that using MATLAB production server as a local server, and people can only get access to it from its own computer? If I didn't misunderstand it, how can I publish it online for everyone else to access via hyperlink/seaching?
