I have a constant block which is used an input to my simulink block.When i do update diagram.It throws an error message saying 'Invalid setting for constant block for parameter value '.Why do i get this error ?

I have a constant block which is used an input to my simulink block.When i do update diagram.It throws an error message saying 'Invalid setting for constant block for parameter value '.Why do i get this error ?Is this because the value that i enter in the constant block is not loaded into the workspace?
