Hi, I am new to Matlab. I would like to learn image processing with Matlab. Could anyone guide me to the steps.

A number of resources are listed here: http://www.mathworks.com/support/?s_tid=gn_supp and you can pick one that you like according to your budget and how you like to learn. There is a classroom, instructor led course on it given by the Mathworks. I suggest you start with that. If you can't afford that, then look over Steve Eddin's blog and buy his book. Also look over my File Exchange, and the demos

Did you try to search "steve eddins" on a book site such as Amazon.com?
