VisualStudio ActiveX controls usage inside Matab

Hi,

Previously I am using windows XP with Matlab version 2007a and visual studio version 2000. I am using a progress bar activeX control of VB in Matlab GUI.It works fine in this configuration.

Now I am using windows 7. I have installed Matlab version 2010a(64-bit) and Visual Studio version 2008, both compatible with windows7. But now the ActiveX control doesn't work giving error"Input Progid does not represent ActiveX control". Matlab doesn't show this ActiveX control in list also.

Any help is appreciated.
