Matlab 2014a to 2015 plotting/annotation issue

Hello all,
As the problem states, I am having a an issue with figures being plotting incorrectly. A little back story, I worked previously with version 2014a and plotting was never an issue. Upon renewing to a newer version, 2015 to be more specific, I have noticed that the figure looks messy. I don't know how else to put it other then the lines weight look like they have gone crazy. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? I don't know where to start to tackle this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Mike
EDIT: I found the following link that may be what is causing my problem. This may have been a known issue, not really for sure.

Attach pictures of a "messy" figure along with, if possible, a small section of code with which you generated that figure so we can see what you mean.

Unfortunately I cannot post a picture or any code. The best I would be able to do is reproduce something similar. That in and of itself would be difficult, sifting through the thousands of lines of code. In the meantime, I may be able to better explain what I mean by "messy". Imagine a normal plot with a 100 or so lines in it(in this case they are all horizontal). In 2014 the lines are perfectly legible spacing and all but, in 2015 the line widths are much bigger, thus obscuring the data. I will work on getting a pic but it will take some time.

Michael, I notice your edit pointing to the eps issue. That is, though, an issue with exported graphics, not with graphics shown on the screen. Could you clarify which of the two you were having difficulty with?

I may have prematurely assumed that the issue mentioned above was the cause for the problem I am having. I am trying to explain what my plots look like. The plots themselves are, for a lack of better words, just off. Much like the plots toward the end of the post. I unfortunately cannot post a picture, partially because I reverted back to 2014. I know I am not giving you a lot to go on, but I was just hoping to get some insight. My department is pushing 2016 and I am going to have to deal with it sooner or later.
