Trying to implement a feature in Simulink (Help)

I have a Simulink diagram that controls a motor using state feedback control

One of the measurement devices is a gyro that has a tendency to change bias often.

Currently I have a predefined "bias" that eliminates the bias. The issue is that this number changes every time I start the test.

I want to implement a feature in my Simulink diagram that (for only the first 1 second) reads the gyro value and sets that as the bias to use for the rest of the time.

This way the bias automatically redefines at the start of every test.
