In the 'Average Model of a 100-kW Grid-Connected PV Array' (power_PVarray_grid_avg), why doesn't the inverter provide reactive power?

In the'Average Model of a 100-kW Grid-Connected PV Array' (power_PVarray_grid_avg), there is no reactive power going to the grid from the inverter/grid. And as far as I know, inverters usually provide reactive power (there is a shunt capacitor in the filter). The attached picture shows this.
