.net application terminated

I am calling a matalb function from my .net code to calculate covariance. When I am calling the matlab signature with a 414x787 matrix .net application terminated unexpectedly. But the same application is working with small matrix dimension size (30x30). In matlab we are using EWCOV for computing covariance.
System environment spec:
MATLAB Version: 7.9.0.529 (R2009b)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Window System: Version 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
Processor ID: x86 Family 6 Model 14 Stepping 6, GenuineIntel
Virtual Machine: Java 1.6.0_12-b04 with Sun Microsystems Inc. Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM mixed mode
Default Encoding: windows-1252
