I am trying to extract data from several text files and the combine them in one file

I collect data from an experiment I perform for my research. It is usually in text form and is not separated into column and rows. I want to first to separate it into columns and rows (Tab and space) and then extract the rows starting from 173 to 772 only for each file. Is there a way to do that?
