What is your definition of depth? Bit depth? Bounding box dimensions?

okk Sir . I want to know get the depth of image in terms pixels. how can I convert into real world parameters? I want to grasp object by image data for that the depth of object should be know. please sir tell me a solution about the depth of front view.
