Dear Community,
i have one solid object representing the floor (the floor acts as a spring/damper) and one solid object as a falling mass! The mass should fall until it reaches the floor - but as you probably know - the mass is falling through it!
How can i implement a detection of a contact and a reaction of the contact?
Hope you can help me - thanks a lot,
Robert

Hello Sr. Robert,
I would like to know if you have this file, with spring/damper and mass designed in SimMechamics. If yes, should you share. Cheers

You can connect the solid to a translational hard stop from the foundation domain. Examples of how to interface Simscape Multibody with the foundation domains can be found in the Simscape Multibody Multiphysics Library.
