improve the image watermarking by Genetic Algorithm

I am working on the image watermarking using discrete cosine transform. The Watermark is a binary image and the host image is Lena. In the beginning, Arnold transform performs on the watermark image, then the watermark embedded in the 8*8 block DCT transformed host image. I need a genetic algorithm to improve watermark embedding location. Can you help me? I'd like a sample algorithm, then change it based on my work.

What would you optimize? When you have a genetic algorithm you have to be calculating something, but what would you be calculating?

I want to find the most appropriate embedding position on DCT blocks of the host image with maximum fitness function containing PSNR & BER . I need a genetic algorithm to improve PSNR & BER or NC.
