hello, I am new to OOP, and would like to see a few examples of how it might be used to develop agent-based models or cellular automatons, for example cells proliferating on a 2D world. Any one know any example codes/tutorials that I can use to explore the methods? There are hundreds of tutorials out there on Matlab OOP in general, was hoping to find something related to the area I would like to use it in. Thx for any advice.

I understand you want to learn more about agent-based models. The following link will provide information on SimEvents, which appears to have some of the features you have described.
