How can I get values outside of -90,90 degrees range when using asin?

Trying to get an answer of 147 degrees but the program always returns 33 degrees (within the range).

If you know you are in that quadrant then use (180 - asind(x))
If you do not know which quadrant then you need to know the sign() of the opposite and the radius in order to calculate the quadrant.
