Just downloaded MATLAB and got this message when I tried opening it. How do I fix this?

License checkout failed.
License Manager Error -9
Your username does not match the username in the license file. 
To run MATLAB on this computer, you must run the Activation client to reactivate your license.

Hey,

I had the same problem because I was logged as a superuser (root on linux). Then I tried as a normal user and it worked.
