3D Plotting of Two Vectors and an Array

My data looks like this.

     kk =

            4000        5000
    dd =

       1.0e-03 *

        0.1250    0.1300    0.1350    0.1400    0.1450  
    ll =

         1.0e+04 *

          1.2486    2.0537
          1.5958    1.1477
          0.2647    0.3158
          0.4065    0.5474
          0.3799    0.3972

I would like to map all three of these on single meshgrid. The values of kk correspond to the columns of ll, and the values of dd correspond to the rows of ll. I would like kk and dd to be my x and y and for ll to be the z value.

I have thus far used

surf(kk,dd,ll)

which works well, but I was wondering what you all in the community would use.
