Lat long transformation from 540x360 to 360x180 (lon lat respectively)

Hi, looking for help please.I am reading a HDF-EOS MERRA data file which has a grid size 540x360x24(lon,lat & hours respectively).Interested in transforming the grid data to 360x180 lon & lat respectively. Thanks in advance
