Hello,
I'm confused about the working of the function ricianchan regarding the k-factor. It is my understanding that the k factor formula= k=m^2/(2*variance) so I would expect if i use ricianchan like this: channel=ricianchan(1/1000,0,[10 0 0],[0 1/10000 2/10000],[0 0 0]) (so no dopler effect) that I get 3 gains where the first gain would have a mean of around 4.4. but actually what happens is that I get a mean for the 1st gain of around 0.6 while the others have a mean of 0 (which is correct because they are rayleigh channels in this configuration)
Could someone explain me why the first gain's mean is so low? am I missing the variance somewhere?

Can you please confirm to me the significance of the parameter m in this equation k=m^2/(2*variance)
does m stands form Mean of the data set ?
