Hi,
I was wondering if there is an offline MATLAB installer available to install the software on a offline computer?
When I download the installation file and move it to the offline computer, it says "unable to continue, the issue may be following. Installer is unable to connect to mathworks. This may be becuae of a firewall or ..." or "product files requires for offline installation are missing".
I have a "network.lic" file. but I am not sure where to put it. I have the files under "D:\Install Programs\_temp_matlab_R2025a_Windows"
Am I doing something wrong here?
Looking at https://se.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/install-using-a-file-installation-key.html but I am not clear if something is missing.

Traditionally you have been always been able to download a disk image for offline installation. I can't find that option right now either. If you press "Can't find what you are looking for", it says there should be an option to download an offline installer under the "I want to" list. That does currenly appear on the website for me.
It sounds like you downloaded the standard installer, which needs internet access for accessing whichever products you are licensed for. The actual offline installer will ask you for the location of the network.lic file, so just keep that somewhere you can easily find it.

Close, but not quite.
It depended on your license whether you were allowed to download an iso with the installer. Somewhere around 2015 this changed to the current installer method.
This standard installer allows you the option of downloading the installation files (even for another OS) after logging in and selecting the license you want to apply. Once this download is complete, you can move that target folder to the offline computer.
Either during or after the offline installation you will be asked for a license file by browsing, which the OP already seems to have.

Hi!
I understand you are attempting to install MATLAB on an offline computer using the link below:
But you are unable to figure where to put the license file.
You are on the right track following right tutorial. All you need on your offline computer is: File Installation Key(FIK), License file, Offline installation file. Follow the tutorial to obtain the same, which I believe you already have.
When you run the install executable ‘setup.exe’, in the advanced options, select ‘I have a File Installation Key’, then enter your key and browse to select wherever your ‘network.lic’ file is located and then choose your installation folder and products you wish to install.
This should successfully install MATLAB on your offline computer.
Make sure the license file and FIK you are using are obtained correctly.

Hope this helps!
