Resonance in moonpool type structures

I have the following code for my problem where i apply the match eigen function technique to find the unknown coefficients and then plotting one result wave motion inside a moonpool structure. However the expected plot for me should be decreasing after the resonance peak. But in my code it is decrease but then again blows up. I did not find any source of error. The analytical expressions which i used for my problem is write in pdf file at the end. Here is my code . I just want to figure out my source of error to fix it but i couldn't. So I need help in acheiving my desired results. I also attached the refrence plot.

eta0(idx) = abs(term1+sum1);
That line is suspicious. You have a process that appears to descend to 0, which very plausibly goes negative afterwards, but you are taking the abs() so it goes back up positive.

I'd change
k(n) = lsqnonlin(fun_alpha, guess, x0_left, x0_right);
to
k(n) = lsqnonlin(fun_alpha, guess, x0_left, x0_right,optimset('Display','none'));
to avoid the outputs of success from lsqnonlin.
Further, you should avoid pinv as long as possible. So I'd use

But I don't have the knowledge about the physical background of your work.

@Torsten Thanks for your response. But this is besseli for n>1 we have then evenscent mode i.e decay expression so then we use besseli that one is typo mistake. And the analytical expressions in my document it is okay. My problem is related to wave interaction with cylinderical structure in marine hydrodynamis as the waves hits the structures then the ways are decaying after going farway from structures then we use evenscent modes for it.

@Torsten Thanks for your response and point out my mistake i debug it and now i get plot. And about the absolute of that expressions the values of it are imignary so i take absolute of it. But the trend in my plot is same with the refrence plot, but for RE/RI =2.0 there peak is in between 4 and 5. But my ones exceeds this.

Do you think it would help if you included the parameters and equations from which the reference plots were generated ? Or are your method and the method used for the reference plots not comparable ?

@Torsten the equation which i write i actually this one in my code d_vec is c and just they write it specifically for l=0 however i used the recurrence formula in matlab to find the derivative and they just put i directly that's why they have minus sign. And we don't need to divided by this 1iA it is already given in normalized form just need to take absoulte because we have imiginary value.
