Hi Everyone! I am using a battery block in Simscape, the problem is that the SOC is surpassing 1 when I give a positive current to the battery while I would like the battery to saturate. When I use this block in my main simulation I can put a limit on the voltage so that the SOC is limited under 1, but how can I make the battery saturate, to have a more loyal model? Hi Braxton,
I understand that you want the battery to saturate instead of surpassing “SoC”.
This can be done using the “Saturation” block in Simulink.
Alternatively, you can use the “Current Limiter” block to avoid excess charging by cutting off charging when the “SoC” reaches
Kindly refer to the following documentation to learn more about these blocks-
Hope this helps!
