Micro Trend is blocking MATLAB 2024b

Micro Trend is blocking MATLAB 2024b eventhough i have tried to insert some of the files to the exemption list. Appreciate help. Thanks!

Hi Jean,

I’ve faced a similar issue where my antivirus was also blocking the MATLAB application from launching properly. In my case, adding 'matlab.exe' (located in the bin folder of the MATLAB root directory) and 'MATLABWebUI.exe' (found under bin\win64 of root folder) to the exception list resolved the issue.

If the problem still persists after that, you can consider reaching out to the antivirus software vendor for further assistance.
