Arc length method with Dynamic Parameters

Hello,

so i am doing my thesis on the arc length method. I am trying to implement a code i found in an article "A simple ectrapolated predictor for overcoming the starting and tracking issues in the arc-length method for nonlinear structural mechanics" by Chennakesava Kadapa, and one of the major issues im having was that the code is working however i need to change the dynamic parametrization of the solver function, as in the code implemented in the article i am having issues trying to make it run in Breaking points or snap through points. I would prefer not to change the entire code (here is is more or less the Chrisfield method), but willing to do so.

Also any article that could help me understand what needs to be done or how to move forward would highly be appreciated
