- Verify Motor Model: Ensure accurate motor parameters or use simpler models (ZIP) if detailed data is unavailable.
- Consider System Stiffness: If your system is very stiff, introduce some impedance (e.g., series reactance) to potentially aid convergence.
- Adjust Solver Settings: Relax convergence tolerances or increase iterations in your power flow solver. Consider alternative solvers if issues persist.
- Check for Modeling Inconsistencies: Double-check your motor model representation in the load flow software for consistency.

Currently I am working on small signal stability analysis of Kundur two areas system with different types of load modelling. I am using induction motor as load and it does not converge the load flow in 50 iteration. How can i solve this issues. If any one has solution for this, i would be grateful.
Thank you.

Hi Sonam,
Induction motors in load flow can cause convergence issues. Here's what might help:
Start simple (no motors) and gradually increase complexity to isolate the problem. Refer to following documentation for more details: https://www.mathworks.com/help/sps/powersys/ref/loadflowanalyzer-app.html
