connection error of add-on product installer

My laptop is a Mac, and the downloaded version of matlab is R2022b. I don't know how to download the other application on a Mac without deleting the software and downloading it again. Sorry, I am a computer idiot, hope someone can help me solve this problem.The app that I want to download could that shows the graph of pert distribution. I don't know what it's name of application.

I tried to re-download R2024a but there is only something called InstallForMacOSintelProcessor on my desktop and I can't open it and the system says it is not responding

It seems like you are facing an issue with the MATLAB installer as well as accessing applications in MATLAB.

Issue with installer

The issue you are encountering with the installer file might be due to the installer not being compatible with the system.

Step1: Check your system properties.

1. On your Mac, click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner.
2. Select About This Mac from the dropdown.

Step2: Check the "MATLAB R2024a and MATLAB 2022b System Requirements for Mac" from these links -

Unable to access the application in MATLAB

The application you are using to get the graph of pert distribution may be "App Designer". In any MATLAB version, if you want to access "App Designer", follow any one of the following approaches -

• MATLAB Toolstrip: On the Apps tab, click Design App.
• MATLAB command prompt: Enter the following command -

>> appdesigner

You do not need to download this application separately since it is already present in the "Apps" tab drop-down list. The Apps tab on the MATLAB Toolstrip displays all currently installed apps when you click the drop-down arrow on the far right of the toolstrip.

Get an application from Add-Ons

From the subject line, it seems like you are trying to install application from Add-Ons.

Apps (and other files) uploaded to the MATLAB File Exchange are available from within MATLAB:

1. On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click the Add-Ons arrow button.
2. Click Get Add-Ons.
3. Search for apps by name or descriptive text.
