How to use Workspace Variable value instead Sldd value in Simulink model.

I am working on Simulink model, which has multiple Atomic subsystems, So there is NXP blocks in some of the subsystems. In subsystem while creating a variable there is only one option for a location which is sldd. but i want to create or store the variable values in base workspace. so how to store the variable in base workspace or how to use it in atomic subsystem. after that i need to go for code genaretion so that the variable should be reflected.

Check the "Enable model access to base workspace" at Model Property, External Data tab?

How do you get to this dialog? subsystem reference or library?
In R2023b, I can get to the dialog of "block parameters" or "block properties" of a subsystem block, but didn't encounter "Subsystem properties"

Okay, I see. It is subsystem reference.
