I'm working on a project that involves dealing with building data from an OpenStreetMap (OSM) file. My task includes custom modifications like imputing missing materials. I've successfully customized the buildings following the "Customize Buildings for Ray Tracing Analysis" example. However, I'm currently facing a challenge with saving these modifications in a format that allows for further analysis. The main goal is to retain both the geometric information and the customized attributes of each building.
Thank you,
Abdullah

I think shapewrite of Mapping Toolbox is the best. You can save geotable to shape (.shp) file. This format contains geometric information and attributes and is supported in many applications including MATLAB. MATLAB reads shape file with readgeotable or shaperead.
