How to create a physical branch connection line between physical port in system composer?

5 ビュー (過去 30 日間)
Hello,
I am working in System Composer, and I am building a system architecture that can display real physical connections, with three components: one called a sensor, and the other called main control unit 1 and main control unit 2.
On real-world devices, the physical interface on the sensor is connected to both main control unit 1 and main control unit 2. I am currently only able to connect the physical interface on Component1 (sensor) to the physical interface on Component2 (main control unit 1), but I am unable to create a branch link to connect to Component3 (main control unit 2).
I would like to know how to solve this issue, besides creating an additional physical interface on component1, are there any other methods that can be implemented?

It seems that I need to create an additional virtual compoment in which Simscape model is called to implement the functions of BUS, and add multiple physical interfaces to the outer frame.

May I ask why designers do not allow physical links to create branches?

We added support for physical connector branching in R2022b.
In releases prior to that, the recommended workaround is to use a Simscape behavior to branch the connector (must have an interface assigned to the physical ports to branch in the behavior).

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, I am currently unable to upgrade to R2022B to experience this convenient feature.
Your answer perfectly solved my problem.
