I recently requested for a trial license, however, when activating MATLAB, the license does not appear on the activation menu, even though it appears on my account.

If you requested it very recently, it can sometimes take a few hours to get properly associated with your account.

Thanks for the response. I have waited for days now but I still keep on getting the error. But to add, are trial licenses fixed to particular versions of MATLAB because the latest release is R2023b and the MATLAB version I'm trying to activate is MATLAB R2023a.

Yes trial licenses are specific to one MATLAB version. You would need to ask sales for a trial of r2023a

Thanks, I found a work around the issue, I generated a license file using the "Activate to Retrieve License File" task under the "Install and Activate" tab of the MathWorks Licence center for my account. I then downloaded the generated license file and activated the MATLAB offline using the license file.
