Simulink model does not load, although it is opened. How to fix it?

Although I open the Simulink model, eg. with open_system('model'), the result of bdIsLoaded('model') returns "false". What could be a reason and how can I fix it?
For some other models in the project it works properly.

Can you share the model so that contributors can reproduce the issue?
